Catholics can watch the Mass and other Catholic programming from their iPhones or iPods for free from iTunes. CatholicTV, a television network headquartered near Boston offers the Daily Mass and a news show featuring current events in the Catholic world. In addition, CatholicTV offers its show “Going My Way”, which is a modern version of the Merv Griffin Show and features singing priests and interviews of priests. Also, CatholicTV offers its talk show “This is the Day” on iTunes. CatholicTV began offering some of its programming on iTunes in 2008.
In addition to free television programs at iTunes, CatholicTV also streams its broadcast live at CatholicTV.com. Catholics can view this online broadcast anytime for free and without obligation. The broadcast can be viewed in full-screen. CatholicTV is a non-profit company and relies largely on private donations for its operations.
There are over 700 full-length videos archived on the CatholicTV website. These include a show on marriage called “The Future Depends on Love”, another show called “Conversations With Cardinal Sean” as well as “The Rosary”.
Viewers interested in seeing CatholicTV programming at iTunes can download the iTunes software at Apple.com/itunes. Then, viewers can search for the shows mentioned above by name.
