WATERTOWN, MA (March 13, 2014) The CatholicTV Network will air the Mass of Thanksgiving on the Occasion of the First Anniversary of the Election of Pope Francis on Sunday, March 16, 2014 LIVE at 12PM ET and rebroadcast at 8PM.
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will celebrate a special Mass of Thanksgiving on the Occasion of the First Anniversary of the Election of Pope Francis. The Mass will take place in the Basilica’s Great Upper Church. His Eminence, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, will be the principal celebrant and homilist of the Mass. Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, and Monsignor Walter R. Rossi, Rector of the Basilica, will concelebrate the Mass and deliver remarks at the conclusion of Mass.
The Mass will be available on CatholicTV and CatholicTV.com at 12PM and 8PM ET.
