“The Archdiocese of Boston extends prayerful condolences to our Episcopal brothers and sisters at the passing of the Right Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, who served as Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts for almost twenty years.  Bishop Shaw consistently witnessed the presence of the Lord to the people he served and the wider community, particularly those in need who could often be overlooked in the course of daily life.  He traveled throughout the cities and towns of the Commonwealth and the world, promoting peaceful resolution to conflict and an end to violence.  We pray that God grants Bishop Shaw eternal rest.”
