Re: U.S. Bishops’ Staff in Rome for Synod of Bishops on the Family

WASHINGTON—Staff of the Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops will be in Rome, beginning Sunday, October 4, to assist the U.S. delegation to the Synod and members of the media covering the October 4-25 gathering.
 
Media wishing to receive updates from Rome, including information on media availabilities and communiqués from members of the U.S. delegation, should send their contact information to [email protected].

Please note that requests for Synod fathers including Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop Gomez and Archbishop Cupich will be facilitated through their local communications directors, whom USCCB staff in Rome are happy to contact.

The Fourteenth Ordinary Synod of Bishops, convened by Pope Francis, continues the discussion of the October 2014 Extraordinary Synod of Bishops, which explored pastoral challenges of the family in light of evangelization.
