September 19, 2016 - Relic of Saint Padre Pio Comes to Boston

As announced by Cardinal Seán on his blog, the Capuchin Friars who run the Shrine of Saint Padre Pio will bring to Boston the heart of Padre Pio for his feast day this year.

Cardinal Seán said, "We know that many people throughout our country have a great devotion to Padre Pio, so the friars have made this possible especially for those who are not able to travel to San Giovanni Rotondo in Italy to venerate his relics and pray for his intercession."

Wednesday, September 21   

Immaculate Conception Parish, Lowell, 9am-5pm

Veneration throughout the day with Holy Mass at Noon 

St. Leonard’s Church, North End of Boston, 7pm-Midnight

Holy Mass at 7pm, followed by veneration until Midnight 

Thursday, September 22   

Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Boston, Braintree, 9am-5pm

Veneration throughout the day with Holy Mass at Noon

Friday, September 23 (The Feast of Saint Padre Pio)

Holy Mass with Cardinal Seán O’Malley at 7pm, followed by veneration until Midnight
