Office of Delegate for the Consecrated Life: Mission
The Delegate for the Consecrated Life is appointed by the Archbishop and serves as the liaison to the members of religious institutes of men and women, Consecrated Virgins, Hermits of the Archdiocese, and Secular Institutes residing and serving in the Archdiocese of Boston.
Among other services, the Office functions as a conduit of communication, information, and support to the members of the consecrated life, especially through closer contact with the major superiors or the local house coordinators. Some of the many activities performed:
The Delegate is a member of the Archbishop’s Cabinet.
