Life Teen Youth Minister (FT), St. Mary of the Assumption. Dedham, MA

St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Dedham, MA, is a faith community of over 2,000 families just outside of the Boston area.  We are seeking a faithful and passionate Catholic for full-time employment as LifeTeen Coordinator in order to lead our well established and vibrant LifeTeen program. The successful candidate will be the one who strives to lead a life of personal holiness and expresses a heartfelt desire to lead teens closer to Christ. The position is responsible for overseeing the high school program and Sacramental preparation for Confirmation. This is an in-person position at the parish in Dedham.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in theology and  be open to working with teens from grades 7-12.
• Organization, management, and programming skills in such areas as religious education, spiritual development, social interaction, and Confirmation  preparation.
• Good communication skills, including social media and computer knowledge.
• Ability to empower, lead, and work with an adult ‘Core’ team of volunteers who work directly with the teens and with the support network of parents and volunteers.
• Ability to work in collaboration with the Pastor, Parochial Vicar, and Parish Staff
