BOSTON – Wednesday, April 17, 2013 – Governor Deval Patrick will join President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, other federal, state and local elected officials, clergy and members of the public for Healing Our City: An Interfaith Service tomorrow morning at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. Please find below logistical information for members of the media interested in attending tomorrow’s service.
Space and Attendance:
The service will be pooled for television cameras via NECN and Catholic Television Network. The service will also be pooled for still photographers. Seating is available for reporters inside the Cathedral, but space is extremely limited. Additional limited overflow space will be available in the lower chapel. TV monitors and sound will be available in the overflow space. There is no internet service available at the Cathedral. Please plan to bring any additional equipment you may need to secure internet access.
Media must RSVP for the service here by no later than 9:00 p.m. this evening. Your RSVP does NOT guarantee access either inside the Cathedral or in the overflow space, due to space limitations. You will receive an email from the Governor’s Office confirming or regretting your attendance.
Credentials and Media Set-up:
Members of the media with confirmed RSVPs must report to the Cathedral (1400 Washington Street) for credentialing, security checks and set-up beginning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Doors will close to members of the media at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
