Braintree, MA-- In a wonderful behind the scenes look at a week in the life of Cardinal Seán P. O'Malley, the Catholic Foundation's George Martell, has posted a beautiful slideshow on the Archdiocese of Boston's website highlighting a breathtaking look at Holy Week culminating in the Easter celebration.
The slideshow is available on www.bostoncatholic.org and is available through the MutliMedia Library link. The slideshow is provided with a music background.
Manager of Digital Communications and New Media with the Catholic Foundation, Martell said, "We sought to capture the warmth and presence of the Cardinal as a means to hopefully inspire Catholics to grow closer in their relationship with the Church. Photographing the Cardinal during Holy Week ensured that we would see him prepare for the Easter celebration by documenting his activities over several days. We hope that this behind the scene's look helps our faithful learn more about the ministry of Cardinal Seán who is our spiritual leader and shepherd for nearly 2 million Catholics." Martell is an award winning Boston photojournalist with over 25 years experience. Cardinal Seán mentioned the project in his blog last week.
Inquiries and comments about the slideshow should be offered to George Martell at [email protected].
