Cardinal Seán O’Malley to celebrate a memorial Mass for the victims of the January 12, 2010 earthquake.   The Cardinal will offer Mass in both English and Haitian Creole.

The earthquake killed more than 200,000, injured at least 300,000 and left an estimated 1 million people homeless.  Recently the Cardinal led a delegation from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to Haiti, March 1-3rd to see firsthand the recovery efforts and to bring the love and concern of the people of Boston to their brothers and sisters in need. The Cardinal is a member of a recently-formed Haiti Advisory Group that will assist the U.S. Church in advising how best to provide for the long-term needs of the Church in Haiti.
