October 4, 2016 - Massachusetts Bishops Statement Opposing Question 4

The Roman Catholic Bishops of Massachusetts have released a statement in opposition to Question 4 on the legalization of recreational marijuana, a question that will appear on the Massachusetts ballot Nov. 8.

“Marijuana represents a significant part of substance use in America and adversely affects the health of millions of Americans. According to a recent report issued by the National Institute of Drug Abuse, Marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug in the United States. ”
