WATERTOWN, MASS. (September 22, 2016) – On Sunday, October 2, the CatholicTV Network will begin airing its new season for fall 2016. The new programming schedule will feature new seasons of some of CatholicTV’s most popular shows, as well as classic favorites and coverage of special events.
Among the shows with new seasons this fall include TheGist, CatholicTV’s talk show for women; Aging Gracefully, a series with Kevin Nelson and Father Myles Sheehan about getting older; and The Lens, which looks at pop culture from a Catholic perspective. WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge also returns this season, featuring brand-new episodes with students from the Archdiocese of Boston.
CatholicTV is also excited to bring you new shows from our programming partners. This season, the Network will air Rebuilt, a show about transforming parishes hosted by Father Michael White and Tom Corcoran, and Subject Matters, a show from Salt + Light Media featuring authors and editors. For children, two new series, Paws and Tales and RocKidsTV, will be added to the lineup.
Later in October, CatholicTV will air coverage of two special papal events. On October 16, the Network will broadcast the Holy Mass and Canonization of five new saints from the Vatican. Then, on October 31, coverage of Pope Francis’s Apostolic Journey to Sweden on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation will begin.
