On Sunday, November 5, the Thirty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time, Father Peter Folan, SJ will celebrate Mass at the CatholicTV Network’s Chapel of the Holy Cross. Father Folan is a doctoral candidate at Boston College.

Harbor Place, a new mixed-income, mixed-use development in downtown Haverhill was dedicated today. Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley O.F.M. Cap., Secretary Jay Ash of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, Mayor James Fiorentini were joined by Lisa Alberghini, President of the Planning Office for Urban Affairs of the Archdiocese (POUA), and Ronald Trombley, Managing Director of the Greater Haverhill Foundation at today's dedication.

Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, Secretary Jay Ash and Mayor James Fiorentini will join the Planning Office for Urban Affairs of the Archdiocese of Boston and the Greater Haverhill Foundation to celebrate the dedication of Harbor Place, a new development in Haverhill that includes mixed-income housing; a 5-story commercial building; a new public plaza; and a grand boardwalk that allows pedestrian access to the Merrimack River from the downtown for the first time in over 80 years.

Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley O.F.M. Cap., was joined this morning by Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, Lisa Alberghini, President of the Planning Office for Urban Affairs of the Archdiocese, MassHousing Executive Director Tim Sullivan and Dori Conlon of Bank of America, for the Groundbreaking of Bethany Apartments, the conversion of a former dormitory building at the Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover into 37-units of housing.

On Sunday, October 22, the Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time and World Mission Sunday, Father Richard Clancy will celebrate Mass at the CatholicTV Network’s Chapel of the Holy Cross. He will be joined by a congregation of students from St. Louis School in Lowell, who will provide music for the Mass. Father Clancy is the pastor of the River of Divine Mercy Catholic Collaborative in Dracut, Tyngsboro, and Lowell. 

On Sunday, October 15, the Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Father Mark Murphy will celebrate Mass at the  CatholicTV Network ’s Chapel of the Holy Cross. Father Murphy is a parochial vicar at St. Paul’s Parish, the undergraduate chaplain at Harvard University, and a regular celebrant of the  CatholicTV Mass.

On Sunday, October 8, the Twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time and the first day of Fire Prevention Week, Father Daniel Mahoney will celebrate Mass at the CatholicTV Network’s Chapel of the Holy Cross. Father Mahoney is the pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church in Charlestown and the Chaplain of the Boston Fire Department.  

Franciscan Children’s, a leading provider of pediatric mental health care for children and adolescents in New England, today announced a new initiative with the Archdiocese of Boston and an expansion of their 20-year partnership with McLean Hospital, the largest psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School. The collaborations are designed to provide extensive community outreach and a comprehensive continuum of mental health services at Franciscan Children’s and to improve the lives of even more children and families affected by pediatric mental illness.
